Recorded in August 2006, "Another Threshing Day" also features the talents of Jim McWhinnie on bodhran. This collection of bush songs and dance music has a focus on lively, lighter and humourous material, plus a few beautiful gentle gems. The recording was made "live at our place" - fresh and unaffected - the simple sound of the trio having a great deal of fun! We hope you enjoy listening to it as much as we enjoyed making it...

About the Bonus Tracks

"Another Threshing Day" contains three bonus tracks taken from previous albums that compliment the style of material on this CD. 
Firstly, there is a vibrant arrangement of "Salvation Jane", from the “Highwire” CD (2003) which was commissioned by ABC Radio Regional Production Fund. (Licensed courtesy of Australian Broadcasting Corporation.) This recording features Liz Frencham on backing vocals and bass, Gary Steele on accordion and Trent Bachelor on percussion.
Then, extending the lighter side of the album, there are two classic tracks, "I Don't Work for a Living" (Sleepers CD, 2000), and "You Can't Change It" (Spring Grove CD [aka Daisy Hill], 2005).
